Invitation to the Autism Dialogue Inaugural Conference

14th December 2018.  9.30am – 5pm.
Quaker Meeting House, 10 Saint James’ Street, Sheffield, S1 2EW.

Autism Dialogue is an autistic-peer-led practice community who have been meeting monthly for the past 18 months.  We apply the essentials of a well established group dialogue methodology (Bohm Dialogue) to the field of autism. Autism Dialogue aims to improve well-being, deepen understanding and improve cohesion of the autism community.  All members of the autism community are welcome to apply to join our programmes.

This is an invitation to join us at our conference, to celebrate the first 18 month stage of our work, and learn about the benefits of dialogue methodology for autistic people and the autism community, research and practice initiatives, challenges and visions for the future. As a group, we will discuss the elementals of dialogue, key areas of priority, research and potential areas of implementation for autism.

You will hear talks from members including autistic delegates, academics, family members and therapists.  You will also be able to take part in a dialogue session and a Q&A panel and network with key professionals from all areas.

This is the first time the Bohm Dialogue method has been applied in the field of Autism and we hope you can join us.

Thank you.
